Don't know about CA, but Jaws @ Universal FL closed down on 1/2/2012. I received an email last Dec. stating 1/1/2012 would be the last day to ride. Luckily we went in Nov. and got to ride it one last time.
Rumor was earlier this year they were possibly expanding the Harry Potter area to that part of the park or possibly putting in a Transformers ride. -

I believe this was the only movie I ever saw in a drive-in theater. Said theater closed down not long after.
It would be good if the review explicitly stated that the disc only contains the theatrical cut. you can infer it from the deleted scenes description, but better to state it clearly IMO.-Paul Acevedo

Great news about the digibook! Pre-ordered on Best Buy's website with free expedited shipping. Hopefully it won't take a long time. Last time I ordered a bd on bb's website, it took over a week.

I preordered it as well, but will the preorder price drop to $24.95, like the Jaws digibook was during the first week it was on sale? $30.00 is a little steep, so hopefully they'll drop the price at some point.

so glad to see it's the theatrical cut. I might actually buy it now to retire my vhs.

Why didn't you just buy the DVD when it was released with both versions of the movie?

if i recall, that was a limited edition version. i imagine it was probably the first batch of copies sold so they probably disappeared quick. i bought mine on day 1 so i lucked out and did get that version. but i was just surprised to see someone still watches VHS. lol i gave up on those long ago in the early days of dvd, even got rid of my players because after dvd, VHS just looked much worse and unwatchable to me. i still own all my VHS movies though for nostalgia's sake. lol
