$40? I'll wait until Amazon has it for A LOT less. That is just way too much for a movie I have never seen before, especially since it is probably only 2ish hours.

I don't think it's going to be on Amazon. It's a limited edition of 6660 units that can only be bought from that site. There might be a non-limited release later on, but it will be probably different.

it's barely over an hour, actually.

and waiting for amazon...you'll get amazon listings from scalpers selling it at 60 or more. not all titles go through mainstream distribution, and companies that release titles in #'d LE's, aside from Anchor Bay, do what they can to make sure people who paid a premium get that. the DVD will probably go wide not too long after the *ugh* hot topic release, but the Blu-ray? not as likely.

I think I'll pick this one up, as well. I missed it when they were on tour. I know a few people that worked on the effects, cinematography, etc.

With shipping and sales tax it comes to just under $49 dollars for the Blu-ray. Yikes.

if it had a slipcover it'd be worth 237 plus tax plus a crumpled up tissue according to some sites.

Less than hour? Sold on that site exclusively? Forget that. I'll just wait for Netflix to have it then.
