this movie also has the distinction for having what i believe to be the worst Meyers mask of the entire franchise. outside of being white with brown hair, it looks nothing like the original. in fact all the sequels seemed to have trouble recreating it. i heard they lost the original one so its not like they could mold a new one but then the zombie movies come along and it looks near identical to the original...so its sad to see it wasnt about ability but just lack of desire and/or money. lol

the funniest part is that the mask for the posters of both 4 and 5 looks pretty good but neither movie looks like that one. lol

I saw the opening of this movie when I was really young, the part where the little girl draws the dog teeth or whatever happens...really freaked me out.

I saw the rest of the movie a few years ago and it wasn't terrible but also not great. I much prefer the H20 storyline to the curse stuff presented in 5 and 6

Serieously lol, thats the hardest part of this movie to watch! It's like they went to a local drug store and found a $10 Michael Meyers mask and called it good. Any time around Halloween, Michael masks can be had that surpass the POS seen in this film so far as quality.

It's been a long time since I've seen #4 & #5, but from what I recall they were a lot better than the reviews here would suggest. Particularly, I thought the occult/ritual angle brought some logic to the whole "is he really the Boogeyman?" question raised at the end of Halloween I (and carried on through all the Halloween movies until the dreadful H20, when he just became another, non-mystical, random 'slasher').
