Default 'Blue Like Jazz' - High-Def Digest Review

Kevin has reviewed 'Blue Like Jazz.' He says this film pulls off the impressive feat of being a Christian film that holds firm to its beliefs, but not to the exclusion of the countless other viewpoints in existence. The Blu-ray offers a solid enough presentation along with a few extras. Give it a rent!

Thanks for the review. It sounds like the film's flaws exist in failing to flesh out some interesting character stories, which is too bad. But I do think this film might stand a chance at being a decent conversation piece instead of simply being another terrible, cheesy Christian film. I look forward to seeing it, but won't expect anything too spectacular.
Did the primary buffer panel just fall off my gorram ship for no apparent reason?!

I read the book several years ago. I have a feeling this will stand in a stark contrast other Christian films. I will probably rent this at some point.
