Not sure why I order the 3D version as I have no 3D gear and no immediate plans buy new gear but hey, when it has both 3D and regular, why not?

The wife and I took our daughter to see it in 3d on opening day and found it enjoyable.

$54.99 for the 3D version? If I wasn't against 3D before, I certainly am now!

I think even the $45 tag for the 2D version is ridiculous. $25 is the most I would spend on a new if it doesn't have a special packing or gazillion bonus discs. But then again, I still have so many discs I need to watch, I can really wait

The list prices do seem outrageous, though unless you've got money to throw away I doubt many would buy it at those prices. Seems to me that these higher list prices help justify any "sales" and greater savings relative to them -- e.g., $27.50 would be a killer deal since it's 50% off the list price, LOL! Regardless, anything more than $20 is still too much for a movie IMO -- Criterions being the exception.
