I met one of the Chiodo brothers years ago when I was job hunting in L.A. He graduated from RIT's film program (back when it was a branch of the photo program). They also created Large Marge in Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

YES! This is the epitome of 80s cheese, one of the best late night B movies ever made and it still has some of the creepiest Clown makeup ever done, I so hope that sequel gets made someday! With this and They Live and so many other horror movies coming that I didnt think would hit Bluray any time soon, the end of this year will be bad....I know where any money I get for holidays is going

In the past week, I saw that I could rent Killer Klowns on my Apple TV in HD but I couldn't buy it on HD, only SD, so I didn't purchase it because I wanted an HD version. I already have the DVD of KKFOS. I was thinking "you have an HD version" to rent but I can't purchase it?? What's up with that?
So, this is welcome news indeed! This is a definite must-buy!
With such a cult movie status, you would think some movie company would scrounge up enough money to make a sequel or remake in this day and age. -

Got this one on the "Midnite Movies" DVD series. Gotta wonder why this one in particular is going to BD when so many of the others in that series are far worthier of a BD upgrade. Maybe more will follow?
