I couldn't for the life of me figure out why it had to be the 13 year reunion either.

Hoping to get a new cult for Christmas. Already tired of playing with the last one. -

The snowballing hate for this flick is nauseating. Its a fun film and its easily on par with the other three theatrical releases.
Sure....13 year reunion...kinda stupid....let that little insignificant point go and the rest of the film is a blast.
Also, in regards to certain characters just showing up for cameos...I'm not trying to claim the movie is realistic in any way here...but...such is life. Did you expect EVERY character to enter every character's life and automatically have them be the best of friends again?! That's not the way life works. When you haven't seen people for 13 years, you realize that there are some people that you just don't give a shit about anymore and you've moved on past that person....then there are other people like the Selena character that you say, "Oh yeah, I remember her from high school. I never talked to her, but wow, she got hot!"
You're free to have your own opinion, but this is seriously a far better comedy than a 1.5 score would lead anybody to believe. This is easily far better than American Wedding or any of the direct to video releases. It's right up there with the first two movies IMHO.
Hell just the casting of Lester from "Chuck", as Stifler's boss should bump it up to at least a three right there.

I definitely agree. Who really cares if it was a 13 year reunion? They admit in the film that they missed the ten year mark, and I could totally believe that some of the students were annoyed that the 10 year one didn't happen and decided to organize a late one.
I really enjoyed it and was laughing the entire way through (except for the scene that fills the screen with Jim's junk mashed up against a glass pot lid - that was totally unnecessary). The whole reflective/reminiscing tone of the movie brought back memories of the first movie, and it was like seeing old friends again (well, not exactly, but something like that).
Anyway, to each their own, but I think this one holds up against the rest and is definitely worth seeing if you're a fan of the series. -
