Cool, but I'm still not happy Michael Ironside is not playing Batman.

Part 1 is coming this year and part 2 next year?!!?? Come on...it's an animated, straight to video flick not a high profile, major box-office movie release, lol.

Exactly. And if Part 1 turns out to be awful, then Warner's decision to split it into two rather than just charging a little more for a single release will be a failure.
Plus not to mention Warner will no doubt release 'Batman: The Dark Knight Returns - The Complete Collection' anyhow when part 2 comes out.Check out my HDD reviews or learn more about me here.

This will never happen, but what I'd REALLY like to see is Tim Burton's take on 'The Dark Knight Returns.' Bring back Michael Keaton as an older Batman who comes out of retirement, have Billy Dee Williams play the older Two-Face, and complete the trilogy -- since 'Batman Forever' and 'Batman & Robin' don't count.

Oh cool, hopefully this will wash the bitter taste of The Dark Knight Rises out of my mouth, a movie which everyone loved but me!

The trailer for this looks pretty cool, but sadly I suspect the violence will be muted too much. I always thought that the Joker story in TDKR was awesome, and I wish more of it had gone into the TDK film. I'll buy this, but probably only after we find out whether a "complete" release is coming or not.
