Saw this posted on Blu-ray Disc's Facebook page:

Can't wait to get this movie on Blu-ray. Loved it. We should have a news announcement up for it shortly.

Pretty sure this will be a blind buy for me, if the price is fair.

So is this REALLY a good movie? Or is it one of those that isn't so hot but gets rave reviews anyway just because Joss Whedon is involved? Trailer didn't impress... But some trailers don't do the movie justice.

It's a REALLY good movie. It's a smart horror satire. You won't be disappointed.

The trailers do not do this movie justice at all.

It is as if Evil Dead and Scream decided to have a child together. It does the best job of breaking down horror movie cliches since the original Scream while putting some Lovecraftian concepts into the mix, along with a lot mess of other stuff. I cannot say more otherwise I risk ruining the movie's enjoyment. However, it also pulls a Zombieland-like cameo into the mix too.

Click on this link for a screenshot from the movie if you don't mind a mild spoiler: http://cf.badassdigest.com/_uploads/...oard__span.jpg

Unfortunately, I will not be buying this on Day 1 since I have James Bond and Avengers the following week.

I had some issues with parts of it, but it's a good and entertaining movie.

'Cabin in the Woods' coupled with 'Tucker and Dale vs. Evil' would make for a great one-two comedic horror night with friends.

DTS HD 7.1 certainly sweetens the pot!
