    Why are Tarsem's studio movies so... crap (mostly, on a scripting level). "The Cell", "Immortals" and now "Mirror, Mirror" are absolutely visually amazing, but utterly atrocious in terms of story/plot.

    "The Fall" is the one time his visuals matched up with a great story--and the movie truly is a magnificent masterpiece--but he spent years shooting that with his own money and got his friends (Fincher & Jonze) to distribute it. Totally an independent thing.
    Steve Zissou: Anne-Marie, do all the interns get Glocks?
    Anne-Marie Sakowitz: No, they all share one.

    Yeah, I just finished watching this and the visuals are very stunning. Blu-Ray was made to showcase movies with this much visual splendor. That seems to be par for the course with Tarsem's movies though...

    Unfortunately, like the review indicates, everything else about the movie was fairly lackluster. Julia Roberts actually did a decent job for once, I usually hate her, and Lilly Collins was adequate as Snow White. The Seven Dwarves and the Prince were hideously underdeveloped characters though, and the pacing of the movie is just all over the place...settling on being sluggish for most of the running time.

    I'm going to have to go with a 2.5 out of 5 on this one....for the visuals and the Ned Stark appearance.

    Since when did Lily Collins managed to score a big acting role in a theatrical film when she was nothing but an announcer for Nick?

    Hope they soon bring out 'Ella Enchanted' on BR. Now that is a very funny live action fairytale movie

    Huntsman, all the way. It's, surprisingly, okay; I might even say good.

    Once again, because of laming down of covers, I am returning my unopened US Version and ordering the UK version.
    Sold HERE for about $25 shipping included. Go to the amazon link and blow up the picture - pretty cool.

    Uk cover below;
