After watching this movie for the first time tonight, I thought it was great, highly entertaining and fun. Although it has an appearance of depth in many parts, I had to open and close one of my eyes, to see if there was a third dimension to the picture, or if it was more of a two dimensional depth. I personally didn't see much of a difference in most of the scenes between one eye being open and two. I would compare the depth of this to the depth of Alice and Wonderland 3D, which was also shot in 2D.
Despite that, there were a lot of debris and such that flies around the screen. I really don't know if they did those effects in 3D in post production, but they sure do overuse it throughout the film, to make you think it's really three dimensional. There were a few spots where things were either aimed or came flying toward the camera, and they tried pretty hard to make these things come out of the screen.
It's not often that you can see a decent, violent movie that isn't filled with sex, nudity, and foul language. So, enjoy this one with the whole family. -

I watched this over the weekend. Like Malakai stated...I thought the movie was entertaining and fun to watch. Liked this one better than the first one....but the film's pacing was a bit rushed,IMO. I mean, blink and you will miss all the cool battles.
My favorite visual part was the climax. The 3D really popped for me. As the review stated, the tartus scenes were impressive. Plan on watching this again on the 4th.My mancave:

I liked the first one. It felt like one boss battle after another.
