I gotta go to Sundance. It's on the bucket list.
It was quite an experience. I saw it in a press screening and it was even surprising a lot of the hardened critics in the audience. Gasps were audible. Although it was probably nothing like being in a screening with an actual audience. There were rumors of how amazing it was beforehand since it had already been shown in Toronto (I think), but yeah, it was cool being one of the first people to see it and come out thinking you witnessed something that you'd probably never really seen before.

Let me know if you ever do get to go to Sundance. January 17 - 27, 2013. Start planning now

Yep it played at this year's Toronto International Film Festival and it won the Midnight Madness award (award reserved for crowd-pleasing horror/martial arts/grindhouse-type flicks). It was one of the best cinematic experiences I've ever had because everyone at the festival was so into it and truly in awe of the insane action. No jerks on their cellphone or talking non-stop. Just a full house taking in one of the best action films ever made and reacting at all the appropriate moments.

Day 1 at whatever price I can get it for. I'll even have a viewing party like one member suggested.
