unless it's a better transfer, this will be a total waste of money. I doubt any of these new features will be anything more than reminiscing about the plot of the movie as most specials are. Brooks' commentary alone on the original release is one of the worst commentaries I have listned to.

I'll stick with my original release. No double dip.

I won't double dip unless it's a better transfer than the first release.

No thanks. I have the Mel Brooks collection (they need to do another one of those with stuff like The Producers and Dracula Dead and Loving It on there) and I see nothing wrong with the version on there now.

I absolutely love this movie, but have refused to buy the original release due to its mediocre transfer. The fact that this anniv. edition includes a new featurette gives me hope that we'll get a better transfer this time. If that turns out to be true, I will grab this in a heartbeat.

I doubt it would be a new transfer. If there was, I'm sure they would make a big stink about it because it would certainly generate more sales. However, all they said was the new featurette and that's it.

If all they did was press new discs with this new featurette, that'd be a crying shame but then again, stranger things have happened. A turd is still a turd, LOL.

Hears hoping for a Rick Moranis/Bill Pullman/John Candy commentary. :P
