Don't know about the books but this movie is the complete opposite. This movie has the government in control of everything which is very far left.

I agree. However the capital populace believed they had freedom.

I have to wonder what the sites are doing,
BOTH Amazon and Walmart's sites show exactly identical items but totally different prices (like $12 difference) - the descriptions and cover art are exactly the same.

I see Walmart's big deal will be a free Mockingjay Pendant but no apparent exclusive content.
