I will blind buy this one (3D). Worse than The Immortals?!? Thought the trailer looked better than The Immortals did. Oh well...guess I will find out myself.

Its absolutely nothing like Immortals, so I cant really see a comparison being made that makes sense there. Tarsem Singh and his movie are on a whole different plane of existence

This was pretty much just like the first movie, except it dove right into stuff happening, it had better action scenes and Kronos is worth waiting for, fantastic FX there, I enjoyed this one more than the remake, but I also really enjoyed Immortals and own the Bluray of that, so take my words however you like

Immortals was way better than this, but this one is way better than Clash. Should be a demo Blu-ray.

As one of the few who enjoyed Clash of the Titans on a camp level, this one bored me to tears. The trailer was promising, but I just found the movie to be so bland and uninvolving. Everyone in the movie just comes across like they're cashing an easy cheque. I didn't love Immortals either, but at least it had style.

I will definitely pass on the 3D version. Why they made this in 3D is beyond me. They probably wanted to make a few more bucks, but I heard awful things about Clash of the Titans in 3D. I believe this was converted just as Clash was and the results for Clash were terrible from what I read.

Clash was about the same as Immortals (goodness-wise) and Wrath is better than both of them, easily.

That still isn't saying much. That is like saying Dark of the Moon was better than Revenge of the Fallen.

"Clash" at least had a sort of cockeyed epic feel to it. "Wrath" felt depressingly earth-bound to me. The gods spend most of the movie in human form and even the cool smoke-and-cinders effect they used on Hades in the first film is gone. The whole thing felt kind of cut-rate, like those sword-and-sandals movies they used to show on TV on Saturday afternoons. "Hercules vs. the Moon Men" and "Theseus Against the Minotaur," and that kind of thing. But the monsters are well done and the plot zips along from point to point. And I'm one of the three people who like Sam Worthington, so I was entertained.

June 26'th makes it a little under three months since it was released in theatres, that was quick. I didn't really like the first one but I'll check this out anyway for the effects. This is a rental for me.
On a side note, since I don't go to the movies this quick turnaround gives me hope that the Avengers will drop in August/September.
