For cheap-thrill spider movies, I enjoyed "Kingdom of the Spiders" (1977) with William Shatner and "Tarantula" (1955). The latter could be Clint Eastwood's first movie though his bit part was uncredited. Don't know if either are available on home video...

The review was so cleverly written so as to entice viewing--"The movie cannot possibly be that bad..." However, if the movie was ever featured on Sci-Fi network then, "yes," it can be that bad.

So, was it "claw your eyes out bad," or "get some friends, a bucket of spicy wings, case of cheap beer, and popcorn to throw at the screen while laughing hysterically bad?" For pure entertainment, a truly awful movie has its place.

Great review, though. If I ever show it, I'll hand out spoons.
