I think I knocked out seasons of Community, Scrubs, Modern Family and Degrassi (yes, I know... I'm a sucker) in separate 24 hour periods. Also a season of Smallville back in the days I was really into it.
I think I have done it with The Office before, but I agree, that brand of humour can get a bit much.
The thing is, I never really plan to do it... I would much rather have some for later. It's just that I get sucked in easily.
Heck, a few months back I got three seasons of Supernatural on Blu-Ray that I hadn't seen. That was a filled up few days. -

This reminds me of the early to mid-70's when drive-in theaters (remember them?) featured 'Dusk-To-Dawn' marathons where they showed 4 to 5 similarly-themed flicks back to back on long weekends....sigh, those were the days, my friend

My wife just happens to be going out of town this weekend.

The last time I sat in front of my TV for 24 hours straight was last June, watching the 24 hours of Le Mans. I did it by drinking a ton of coffee. I'm happy to say that this year I'll be seeing it in person for the first time!

Aaron, y'know as much as you had with your marathon, for ultimate tiredness nothing beats working 3rd shift!

Midway Drive In near my home town still does this a few times a year. Usually every sunday night before Memorial Day and Labor day and sometimes a couple more times.
I haven't been to it since high school though (mid 90s). The cops used to just let all of us underage kids drink in there without hassling us but if you tried to leave that night or the next morning the person driving the car had better be stone sober because they checked pretty much every car leaving.

Great job on the marathon, I don't think I could have done it. I stayed up for about 36 hours straight back in the day, but we stopped with movies at about midnight and had to switch to video games to keep our minds limber, plus there were three of us.
RIP Kosty you are missed.
