Amazon lists it as "Digital Copy + Ultraviolet Digital Copy". That's the first I've seen with both in there. I wonder if that's accurate.
I'm also curious to see what the specs are. I have that multi disc DVD package with extra scenes from a few years ago. If I get the BluRay one, I don't know if I want to lose the extra bits.
Anyone know if the 3D version in theatres now is a straight scene copy of the original theatrical, or did they "3D" the extended version? -

27.99 for 3D combo version i did the pre order. My wife loves the movie and i was a little curious about the 3D so i'm taking the plunge. From what i hear its the exact same movie just in 3d, the only scene change is that the stars in the ocean shots at the end have been redone because they were not correct and historically inaccurate in the original version.

Makes me think there will be some other disc later on with all the deleted scenes.

It's out of print at the moment. People probably aren't aware of the blu-ray being available, I would guess.

It's a straight scene copy of the original theatrical except for one scene where they have changed the sky to correctly represent the stars on the night she sank.
Pretty damn good conversion to 3D though. Day one purchase for me.....I have been waiting forever for this to hit Blu-ray.PSN : DaveS1138

I'm hoping they stick the addtl scenes from the collector's edition on the Blu-Ray. Won't stop me from buying the blu-ray. In fact, I've already sold my 3 Disc CE DVD, and turned it into the blu-ray Titanic pre-order as well as MI4: Ghost Protocol.

But I would like those addtl scenes on there. -

The MSRP is absolutely insane, but the Amazon prices are very reasonable. I just preordered the 3D version. Thank goodness for Amazon - I am sure Best Buy will sell this at the MSRP, and there is no way I would pay $55 for this thing, but $28 is reasonable for the 3D. I just have the original DVD release that came out in 1998 or somewhere in that time frame.

I thought about buying the 3D version, but that's an addtl $6 just for that disc over the regular one. Considering I don't own a 3D TV, it's kind of a waste.

Just saw it in 3D this friday, and it just looked spectacular. Over 90% of the 3D was perfect, some small clitches here and there. But the picture quality was just perfect. Long time since I have seen such good quality on the big screen, and I have seen lots of movies at the same screen, even Transformers 3 didn't look this good.
