Default 'Waiting' - High-Def Digest Review

Kenneth's review of the indie comedy 'Waiting' is up. While he didn't love the film itself, he says this undeniably a great Blu-ray disc, featuring a huge upgrade to the video, an uncompressed 7.1 audio track, and a seemingly endless amount of extras.

Before yesterday, I had never heard of this film. I'm going to watch the R-rated version on Showtime.

this movie is hillarious, if you like movies such as old school and 40 year old virgin then you will disagree with the poor movie rating, i dont have blu ray yet but i am defending the movie

I agree with Kenneth's movie review. It's like the director said "I really really like Clerks. Maybe I'll make my own... in a restaraunt!", except he lacked the style and dialogue that made Clerks so great. If you absolutely have to see this movie on blu-ray, rent it first. I'd probably recommend Delta Farce over this, if only because you know what you're getting yourself into with that film. With "Waiting", your opinion of it has nowhere to go but down.

What made this movie worth watching was the game the staff at the restaurant play when they have to surprise a co-worker with their junk in odd and disturbing ways. IE The Bat, The Brain, and The Goat!

"Waiting..." is a great flick! You'd think it was Peter that wrote this review or something

Van Wilder was funny as heck, but "Buying the Cow" even better. I've never seen Waiting, and it's on its was from Netflix. After reading some of the comments here I've lowered expectations, so it should be good.

EDIT: IMDB.com rating:

Waiting - 6.8
Van Wilder - 5.9
Buying the Cow - 5.7

There's just no accounting for some people's tastes.

Yeah, I don't think the video is a 4 star, but it's better than the last DVD. Probably 3.5 stars-ish. It look pretty soft to me.
