Huh... I thought I would never be surprised by internet hating again, but people complaining about the fourth film simply being there just seems silly.
It's a part of the series... they aren't going to exclude it because some people don't like it.
Personally, I held off on buying the fourth film, because I knew this would come eventually... I'm glad this great film series is finally getting a Blu-Ray release! And anything less than a 4.0 PQ score for each movie will be a disappointment for me. -

$75 on sale?! That's a little steep isn't it? Better be loaded with new stuff.

I can't help it. The stench of Indy 4 is too much to bare. It won't be stinking up my movie collection. I'll wait for individual releases. There are many of us that were holding onto the false hope that Paramount might be generous and give us a trilogy set. Silly us!

"...and a few new surprises."
I'll be buying this set as long as it doesn't have Indy's whip replaced with a walkie-talkie, or have the big Arab dude's sword replaced with a gun and have him shoot first. -

Although I bought Indy 4 already, I'll buy this set IF the price is right AND the transfers are up to par. Reselling my copy solves having two versions. Aside from that, I'm stoked about the news...yes!

Haha. I knew what I was getting into when I bought it (on the cheap, too). The plot is weak and the action weaker, but I wanted to see how the filmmakers would hand over the torch to the young Indy-in-the-making. At least the PQ/AQ held up to hi-def standards. Here's hoping the first 3 movies hold up as well (crossing my fingers).

i'd rather just have the first and third one....
the second one was far worse than the fourth though....
short round was pretty much jar jar beta 1. -

Yeah thats a long bit you'll be waiting for. What in the history of home video makes you think they would put out a set with just the 1st three movies? ESPECIALLY with the single minded blockheads behind it who are Lucas and Spielberg. Your only hope is seperate releases(and a custom box perhaps), a three film Indy set will never be produced.
And btw, I recently rewatched Crystal Skull a few weeks ago with the idea that it's tonally not any different than the 1st three, and guess what.. it isn't, we've just outgrown the flights of fancy. Surviving a nuclear blast in a lead lined fridge is ludacris, but so is surviving a thousand foot jump from a crashing airplane in an inflatable raft, people being melted by the power of god, or meeting a centuries old knight in a cave.
Personally I can't wait for the set, it will be a day one purchase for me.
EDIT: before anyone points it out. I just remembered Fox put out The Omen set on DVD including the awful 4th TV film which was really a bastardized remake of the original. And they mercifully didn't include it in the Blu Ray set, but the circumstances are a bit different here(yet still they included the actual remake lol).HT gear: JVC RS46 3D projector with 147in Hi Power screen, Klipsch RF-7 based 9.1 system, Emotiva XPA5 5 channel amp, Pioneer 1120 reciever, Oppo BDP-95(region free), Xbox 360, Toshiba XA2 -

Oddly, $50 is my top end for this set as well.
