    Default 'Underworld' -- pre-release buzz

    Sony has announced another one for Blu-ray:

    It's due September 25, and though there are no specs yet, it will be the 133-minute "Director's Cut" that hit DVD a few years back.

    Full details should be coming shortly...

    oh outstanding.

    underworld: evo wasn't quite worth a rebuy to me, but the original underworld is worth it assuming the pq/aq is up to snuff.
    Can't you recognize bullsh*t? Don't you think it would be a useful item to add to your intellectual toolkits to be capable of saying, when a ton of wet steaming bullsh*t lands on your head, "My goodness, this appears to be bullsh*t?"

    Uh yeah. I'm buying this. Kick ass movie. WAY better than the sequel. The PQ was amazing on SDVD so the BD should kick extreme amounts of ass!

    Now i am complete.
    I was shocked that this wasn't one of the first releases. Underworld Evolution was the first blu-ray I bought and the picture quality was great i would say a 4.5/5. I hope they port over my entire 2 disk extended directors cut DVD onto blu-ray. They should be able to fit it all onto one BD-50.
    PC Gamer, PS3 Gamer, Xbox(360) Gamer & Portable Gamer.
    At Least I know my PC will always be backwards compatible.

    Awesome! Does Unrated = Kate naked? Probably not. I assume (and I hate tod o this) that this is probably the same as the Unrated DVD put out years ago before Evolution. Now I am glad I did not buy taht DVD as I will definitely buy the BD. What else was included in those extra 12 minutes of footage if anyone knows? Thanks.

    I have the Unrated Special Edition. The extra footage is just more story to flesh out the characters better. It's worth it.

    I will be picking this up when it hits blu-ray. I htought it was a decent movie 6.5/10 for me. I liked Underworld Evolution more but it will still be a good purchase.

    apparently like 8 minutes or so of extra footage that fleshes out that blond ho-vampire that keeps clinging to kraven.

    look up the amazon listing for underworld unrated, it'll have a description.
