'Chuck: The Complete Fifth Season' and Complete Series is coming May 8
-
A bit disappointed they didn't announce a complete series set as well.
-
Looks like your wish is granted. :)
-
Yay! And so soon, too. If only this announcement came yesterday, it would have made my Valentine's day. So lonely...
-
Good news! I've been holding off on the individual seasons in anticipation of a complete boxset. Hopefully it's reasonably priced (i.e., less than the individual seasons) and contains the same specs or bonus extras to entice a worthy purchase.

I love Chuck, top 5 of all time for me. However, I bought the first two seasons on Blu and the Vq was among the worst I have seen. Before you spend the bucks on this I would rent a Blu and see what you think. Season 3 & 4 I bought the dvd and looks as good as the Blu. Do miss the show

You're right! In my excitment over the news, I'd forgotten a reason why I held off so long in buying the individual seasons. Namely, the PQ/AQ was sub-average, to put it kindly, for hi-def releases. Even the AQ is lossy for the first 3 seasons. :frown:
So unless WB steps up to clean these transfers, I will continue to wait for a proper release. A shame...on you, Warner.

Yeah but the first 2 seasons were so cheap at one point when they were trying to push the show.

Ummm unless they fix this complete series release and add Lossless you won't get it until the next format.
People almost always get hosed on television releases. One it's out there, it's out there, even if it's got shitty Lossy.
This is why I constantly bitched when Warner released Fringe and others without Lossless.

Nice, my bday is the 9th :D I missed the last of half of season 5 on tv so I can not wait for this.

I hear ya. Waited this long, can wait longer and in no hurry given the expanding movies still unopened in my collection. Between PQ and AQ, I can forgive AQ for being lossy as long as the picture improves from the original releases. If WB fixes that aspect, they might get my money.
