Young Guns With Different Codec Versions
I have noticed that "Young Guns" is apparently availble in two different codecs (the MPEG2 version and the MPEG4 AVC version). I rented "Young Guns" from blockbuster and it was in MPEG4 while I have also seen it with the MPEG2 codec when my friend rented it online from blockbuster. Does anyone know anything about all this, and if any other movies are starting to switch codecs?

I know this is an old thread, but anybody have anymore info on this?
Is the AVC one better? -

Are you sure the disc you rented was AVC? Seems unlikely that Lionsgate would silently re-encode it without remastering the video and marketing it as a Special Edition.
