bout time.
that is all.
doctor--If there's a title I really want and it's region free I wouldn't have the patience to wait two years to get it.
I just order it from amazon.uk or get it through a group buy.
I mean why wait?Last edited by Arkadin; 07-22-2011 at 11:00 AM.

Yeah, I got this at least a year and a half ago from Amazon UK, hadn't realized it hadn't been released in the US yet. Wonder if Michael Bay even saw this film before he made that dreadful Pearl Harbor.

well I figured THIS december would be it after they didn't release it last dec.
just shows if we wait through enough decembers it will eventually come out in the US.
(the "timed" "anniversary" release game is so played out at this point; but the studios are the only ones that don't see it unfortunately) -

well wasn't the recent "A Clockwork Orange" just the same bd transfer as when it was first released?
they just added the digibook packaging correct?
not really sure what wolvie is talking about. (confused smilie)
the TTT release will be exactly the same as what has been released already, and I can guarantee you 100% it looks very good. -

You'll never guess who got this to me a day early...DeepDiscount!

But...
shhh, quiet, they got in trouble once for doing that with a Harry Potter book...
I might have to watch this one tonight; very rarely do I get any release on day 1 (and in this case, day 0)...
Thinnest blu-book ev4r... Interestingly, the disc "tray" is not plastic, there is just a disc-sized cardboard cavity the disc fits into, held in place by a small overlapping tab at the bottom. Are other books like that? This is the first one I've seen that way.Pan 65" Plasma TC-P65V10 / Onk 7.1 TX-SR607 / Onk DV-HD805 / Pan DMP-BD60 / Tosh XD-E500

However i purchased the Black Sabbath Box Set "Black Box" {FYI - it's the Complete Ozzy Era} And it had a bonus dvd of concert video from early on. it came packaged this way, in the book that came with the set. -

I watched my Tora! Tora! Tora! blu-ray for the first time last night. If you are familiar with the film, you know what a masterpiece it is as an early "docu-drama". And this blu-ray release is absolutely gorgeous. The pq and aq are everything I hoped for. Plenty of extras also - all worthwhile.
My only gripe is the packaging. It came in a digibook type package that keeps the disc in a thin pocket against the inner back cover held in place by a tab of cardboard. Why not give us a proper plastic holder so the disc is properly protected? But at least this one let's you get the disc in and out of the package without having to slide it over cardboard or in and out of a sleeve of some sort.
I'm surprised HiDefDigest hasn't done a review on this one yet. It's a worthy purchase.
