'The Fellowship of the Ring - Extended Edition' Blu-ray Satisfaction Poll!
Over the past few weeks, there has been much debate over the recent Blu-ray release of 'The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition' video presentation. Or more specifically, surrounding what has become known as the mysterious "green tinting" that has caused quite the outcry.
At any rate, you asked for it and now here it is -- a poll! You can select more than one answer.Last edited by Landy; 07-19-2011 at 11:25 AM.

Although Fool of a Took may be a little bit harsh, it's still true... at least regarding Fellowship.

I voted that "I mostly like this version, but some parts bother me" and "I bought it and would like to see Warner offer an exchange."
I am still pretty happy with the set but I would still exchange it if there was an exchange program.

I voted I haven't bought it yet but plan to. Confession time.....I have NEVER seen any of the LOTR films. The extended editions will be my introduction into this particular trilogy.

I'm so tired I didn't see it was multiple choice

Honestly the movie gets more difficult to enjoy every time I spin it up. The greenish cast is bothersome enough, but the dulling and darkening effect it projects over the entire film just makes it a mess. I'm fully expecting some sort of replacement option, just not sure how soon. -

Interesting. If this poll keeps going the way it is, Warner won't be able to keep sweeping it under the rug.

I voted for an exchange and I can see the green tint.
I almost pulled the trigger on this is a travesty but the other two movies looked
very good and the real problem was only Fellowship.Display: Pioneer PRO-151 60" Elite

Even the ones that bought it seems like already swept it under the rug too because they do not even bother to participate in this poll or there are really only 22 HDD members who bought it.
With all the traffic in the "Green Tint" thread, I thought there would be more than 22.Laissez-Faire -

The green tinting is noticeable and not good. Eventually your eyes adjust to it, much like wearing shooter's glasses, the yellow tint of them eventually becomes less noticeable. Bottom line though is the color is not natural, we'll see people posting workarounds on how to calibrate their tvs to overcome this issue. Maybe middle-earth's natural color is green, not like our earth's blue natural hue, no, maybe not!
