Well I just got mine from Amazon and put on FOTR. I don't know if it's my tv or player or my eyes but I just don't see any green tinting at all. I am very happy about that so no complaints from me about the box set except for having the extras not in HD. They could really use the upgrade too.

My suspicions is that we might see BD75's in the near future and they will 'quietly' fix the green tint issue as the also release a box set where the whole movie fits on one disc.

Yeah I agree, I still haven't bought it but I think I may just have to because it's probably the only version we'll get.
I'm disappointed that the 2 releases I was looking forward to most have color correction and "noooooooooooooooooo" .....
