Too bad they won't bother remastering 'Fistful' for this standalone double-dip.

Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash
we have very little reason to be interested in them.

So what are the differences to the former releases?

I don't think either were available outside the trilogy boxset, however TGTBATU was, so now all 3 will be.

Aha, didn't think of that since they've all been released separately in Europe a long time ago (wouln't expect that from MGM who disses the Europeans with many US exclusives).

Not in the UK, you can only get them in the set here - but since very few people are going to want just 1 of the films, and you can get the set for £17.99 (incl tax & postage) we can't complain too much.

No, Target has been selling them seperately for $10 each for months now.

Yup. I bought these at Target when Gran Torino was released. There was a bundle deal for GBU and Gran Torino, the other two were $10 apiece.

I'm surprised to hear about these sudden seperate releases of "For A Few Dollars More" & A Fistful Of Dollars" from the studio. I bought both of these seperate blu ray discs three months ago [or more] at Target for $10 each with all the special features listed. My advice: Check your local target store before paying more for these "coming soon releases".
