Oh happy day! The Muppets Take Manhattan was my favorite movie as a kid! I can still sing most of the songs from it! I actually have this on my DVR in HD that I recorded off of Voom.

It seems Amazon has removed the "Blu-ray/DVD" from both of these listings, and now they just say "DVD." I'm guessing that they still are Blu-rays, particularly since I can't see Sony charging $19.99 suggested price for DVDs (when previous DVDs of these movies were around $14.99 a few years ago), but you never know.

At any rate, if you're considering pre-ordering these it's probably best to wait for a more solid confirmation from Sony.

I believe so - The Great Muppet Caper and The Muppet Movie are still no shows. Kinda sad really as those two are my favorites.

Manhattan is good, though I like the other two better. The old Jim Henson movies are still the best.

Yep. The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth could technically count, but depends on the person I guess.

I wouldn't count them, as they just used creatures designed by the Jim Henson shop and some of the same people. The Muppets are a select group of characters from the Jim Henson shop. However, I've never been sure if the Sesame Street gang and the Fraggles are considered Muppets, as Kermit was on Sesame Street a lot, and there was a Christmas special that involved Muppet Show Muppets, Sesame Street, and Fraggles all together, and it was a "Muppets" special. I just remember the Swedish Chef trying to catch Big Bird to make him Christmas dinner.

I wouldn't count Dark Crystal or Labyrinth for sure, otherwise you'd have to include Jabba the Hutt as a Muppet.

Muppets Take Manhattan is a definite day one for me....one of my favorite childhood films. I'm not sure about Muppets from Space though. What is the general consensus on Muppets from Space? Good or bad?
