Weeds : Season 4, 5 & 6 region free ?

I finsihed watching this show and want to buy it, How ever It would seem only the first 3 season are released over her(UK) and only DVD at that.

I know All 6 seasons are available in the NA and It seems season 1 to 3 are region free but what about seasons 4 to 6 ?

I did the last few reviews here. Lionsgate titles sometimes are Region Free, even if they mark a title as A locked. They're never Region A Locked if they're properly marked A/B/C, though.

The Weeds season 5 and 6 packaging both say A only, but that doesn't guarantee it won't play for you. I currently don't have any in my possession to region test for you, and I don't trust that liesinc site.

I have the season 5 BD set and it is indeed Region A locked (I have both Region A and B players).

Yes, Lionsgate exists in England. They also exist in Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland. They distributed seasons 1-3 in the UK.

Think I found the problem.Seems nobody picked up the broadcast rights for season 4 and beyond so stands to reason why they weren't released on on DVD/blu-ray.

How ever Sky Atlantic is currently showing season 4 now so we may get them eventually.

Weeds is now released on Blu Ray for region B, in Australia anyway. I've seen a few region B copies going on ebay, so if you're in the UK you can grab them from there for now until it is officially released in UK. This is for all seasons 1-6. No word on Season 7. They also released Breaking Bad on Region B blu ray in Australia but not the UK< so I'm not sure why it is different
