Default 'Bad Boys (1983)' - High-Def Digest Review

If you're looking for explosions and two cops in a Porsche, this is not the movie for you. If you wanna see Sean Penn in an early dramatic performance, you have come to the right place. Aaron says 'Bad Boys (1983)' is a great prison drama. Alas, this Blu-ray features
below average audio and video and a lone extra. Give it a rent. This movie is worth a look!

It's also interesting to see the attempt to rehabilitate the young Kurgan before he embarked on his quest to conquer the world.

Note: isn't it Paco Moreno's little brother who gets killed and who is Mick's enemy? It's been a long time since I saw this.

I loved this moved back in the day but may rent first since not all 80's movies still sync for me when I see them again.

I consider this film to be one of the greats -- very powerful. So, my question is whether the BD would be an improvement over upscaling my 2001 Anchor Bay anamorphic DVD. The review doesn't seem to imply that, but has anyone actually compared? Anybody?

I watched this when I was younger and I also thought it was a powerful film.

Hopefully they do the transfer justice.
