It might not be as emotional as Mask of the Phantasm but it's still a well written entry in the Batman series and it's a really fun action movie and the Timmiverse has some of the best animation out there. I have a feeling this is a test from WB hopefully they give us a good transfer (I have a feeling it won't be that great, just decent) but hopefully and if this works out, who knows Mask of the Phantasm later this year? =DDvd/Bluray Collection

A decent enough movie, and I'll definitely be there day 1, but I really hope this is a precursor for the rest of the series/movies. Well, maybe not Subzero, that was balls.

Day one for me also, the final Bruce Batman and Joker battle was epic and sad.

Yeah the 4 by 3 is confusing but i don't believe any of the Batman series from Timm or Superman was done in 16:9 but Justice League was after 2 seasons or 1.
Well they did inspire this
And the Mr. Freeze movie was pretty good it's the weakest good one, Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman was terrible. I can't believed they churned out that mediocrity.Dvd/Bluray Collection

I'm pretty sure the DVD is in widescreen. I could be wrong though, it has been a while since I watched it.
Anyway, this is amazing news. This is my favorite of the movies, and finally get it on Blu-Ray is going to be amazing. Now, if they could just get to release all of JL on Blu-Ray properly, I would be a happy camper.
Because they did. Did you not watch the final season of Batman the Animated Series? The episode where they bring in Firefly shows their relationship."...somewhere out there, michael bay now has the basis for his next film...and it's all your fault." - project-blu -

Well yeah but I tried to ignore that until Mystery of the Batwoman gives that strong hint at the end. It was really stupid idea on the writers' part.
I don't recall the Firefly episode hinting their relationship at all, I remember she was just his only sidekick at the time with Tim Drake.Dvd/Bluray Collection

I didn't like this movie at all for whatever reason, it was very disappointing compared to the television series. I'd love to see "Batman Beyond: The Movie" on Blu, although it was probably originally animated in 480i for television anyway.
RIP Kosty you are missed. -
