awesome awesome awesome.
i swear i find it hilarious how many people HATE this film, due to its structure. it's so far from confusing, it's logical, quite brilliant, even, and amazingly has a twist, despite beginning at the ending. an A+ film.Nate Boss

now that is what i call a true double dip. i will be buying it no doubt.
i'm so glad that Nolan is keeping his older masterworks at full swing. hopefully Following will get a Blu-ray release soon.
completely agree. i was a little unsure as to how i felt about it last summer when i was hyping up Inception (between excellent and a masterpiece) but watched it a couple more times in September and yup, it is indeed a 10/10 for me too, and it skyrocketed to my genuine favorites too. -

Hell yes. This is great news. Original release was one of the early MPEG2 transfers. It wasn't terrible but it just wasn't up to snuff. Hopefully the new transfer receives proper attention from Lionsgate.

tom, i have yet to view it a second time, knowing what happens. i'm sure it does get better on the second time through.
as is, i got it pretty damn good, considering i knew going in that it was the "backwards" movie. i think knowing that is the only thing one need know going in blind.
Lionsgate distributing this title is news to me, but hey, i look forward to it.Nate Boss

Awesome! I was considering replacing my weird DVD edition (you know, the one where it's a puzzle to watch anything on it) with the Blu-Ray, even though it was a first-generation disc that probably wasn't fantastic. But now I'm glad I didn't!
Memento is still my favorite Christopher Nolan film (who is also currently my favorite director). It also took me a few time to understand the entire story. When I watch the movie with people who hadn't seen it yet, I explain how the movie works first-- the color segments run backwards, and the black and white segments run forward but take place before any of the color segments. This usually helps them get right into the movie a bit more without getting too confused right off the bat. Even then, I pretty much have to help explain to them the meaning of the ending
