I laughed when I first heard that there was a Death Race 2 direct-to-video feature.... But that cast list is surprisingly awesome. I'll watch it, one way or another.

I'm sorry guys, but that looks like shit. Danny Trejo not withstanding, I see zero reason to even give it a chance.

There were definitive reasons why the first one is watchable, none of which this version contains.

Don't get me wrong, Cheez, I hope you enjoy it, I just don't think this one's for me. I own the blu of the first one, and the quirkiness, vision, and casting all combine to make a weird but cool flick. All I'm saying is that IMO that particular combination wsa needed to make this work, and this just feels like a cheap cash-in attempt to me before it even gets started.

I'll be happy to be wrong....
