'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring' - High-Def Digest Review
Fasten your seatbelts! Here we go!
Nate has reviewed the standalone release of 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.' Trouble still lurks in HD. This is a must read review of the first installment in this flawed Blu-ray epic.

No offense intended, but it might be easier to read if the review didn't sound like the catty bickering of a teenage girl. This release is broken, we get that. Droning on about it and how disappointed the reviewer is about it is tedious.

some people were expecting the EE's. so....yeah, some people were expecting remasters. considering how many titles are getting them (and there were a couple that happened before street date, fixes, that consumers don't even know about) lately, even though quick and dirty was an easy assumption, one really could see (and did see) more than a few people getting antsy in their pantsies.

When are they going to shill out a 3D version. I expect them to milk this for all its worth. God I wish these frigin studios would step up to the plate and put some time and effort into remastering these huge moneymaking films for a change.

If this is just the box set split up, what's the purpose of reviewing it again at all?

I won't buy LotR until it releases with the EE's. I see no point whatsoever.

YAWN!
EE's or bust! I haven't even givin a nano thought as to viewing these. With PJ overseeing the EE's and all the 3D hype who knows how much TIME/MONEY they'll milk from us until this set is done right? -

additionally, there are two editions of these re-releases out there, and these reviews educate them on the differences.
can't please 'em all. some studios send out screeners on titles that are just repackages, so it's just what it is.Nate Boss
