I didn't even realize that this hadn't been released yet. Nice.

Agreed. I missed out on the DVD version that had it and have been wanting to own it for awhile now.

Yes! To be honest I'm mostly excited that they're including the theatrical version. I never liked the way the unrated version lets all of the improv scenes go on until they just dribble away to nothing; it's like watching a movie get interrupted by its own deleted scenes reel. I thought the shorter cut would never see the light of day on Blu-ray. And 'Wake Up, Ron Burgundy' too...awesome.

If you haven't seen Wake Up...dont get your hopes up. And as mentioned, I am ecstatic the theatrical is on the disc. I think it is far superior to the extended.

I'm just glad to have both! I prefer the theatrical edition, but appreciate Wake Up for what it is(gag reel movie basically). The bit where they almost go cannibal with a Burger King in the background is priceless! Finally I can get rid of the DVD.

Uh there's hardly a difference between Anchorman Unrated and the Theatrical, you just have a longer cursing scene which is pretty funny hahah.

This movie is great, if you doubt Will Ferrell's talents please watch Anchorman, if you don't laugh, get a sense of humor because this movie took slapstick humor to a new level.

And this comedy should be also noted for breaking out some of the greatest comedic actors of our generation. Paul Rudd broke out, David Koechner showed he works with good talent, Judd Apatow was shown to us, Chris Parenll, the amazing Steve Carell, and it had all the frat pack members excluding Owen who couldn't make it. It's an awesome Apatow flick as it is an awesome Frat Pack flick. Apatow needs to reteam with the Frat Pack again.

I don't think it's a 'Frat Pack' movie in any way. Yes, it has some of the actors from that genre as a bit of a cameo, but labelling it as 'Frat Pack' (and Slapstick, for that matter) does it a great injustice.

You are incorrect. There are big differences...scenes are longer, dialogue is changed, jokes changed, etc..

I want this movie but I almost guaranteed don't want to pay what BB will be charging due to it's exclusivity.
