'Legion' - High-Def Digest Review
Our review of 'Legion' has been posted. An angel with a machine gun? Check! Great visuals and sound design? Check. Good story, style, filmmaking panache....? Uhhhhh... This Blu-ray has fantastic video and audio and a nice helping of extras. Too bad the film doesn't warrant such an excellent presentation. Good Disc, Bad Flick.

I didn't even know this was out already. I swear I thought it was still in the theaters last month. Either way, I'm passing on this movie. The trailers just looked way too crappy for my liking.

Holy Crap!
That about sums up the movie for me. Very dissapointing and misleading movie. I still cannot care for any character Lucas Black plays its not even funny anymore. Paul Bettany is the best thing going in this movie and thats about it. I guess they have a sequel in mind because the didnt bother explaining a thing in this movie. Why is the child so important, whats the crap written on Jeep's(his name is freaking Jeep) arm, who are the prophets they need to find. And if the people behind this movie think we didnt see the entire plot lifted from Terminator, then they must think we are just cows with wallets. The ending of the movie is exactly the same. Boo

I just watched this through and it reminded me of the extreme low-budget title "FEAST" (which was conceived and directed by non-professionals). Most of the movie takes place in a small roadside diner in the middle of the desert. It is summarily attacked by demons as the heroes fight to defend their very lives!
The best part of which was a possessed, smack talking grandma with baby teeth who crawled on the ceiling like a spider!

Pass. I figured this was a crappy movie once I saw the unintentionally funny bit in the trailer where the grandma starts jumping around and climbing on the walls.

Actually, when I saw this in the trailers, it was the reason why I chose to pass seeing this movie. I hate when things happen in a movie for no purpose other than to "dazzle" viewers. There's absolutely no reason why she would crawl up the wall like that when she could just pounce on whoever.
It's like the "peekaboo" tactics in 'The Strangers.' The only reason those villains kept appearing/disappearing in shadows was for our benefit, because most of the time, Liv Tyler had no clue anyone was there.Check out my HDD reviews or learn more about me here.

I decided I would have to see this movie when I saw Paul Bettany with two M16's.

I thought this would at least have some good action or excitement but there really was nothing. I, and the others I was with, sat in the movie theatre praying something would happen that would keep us interested in the film. Do not be deceived by the trailer, all the action you see in it is all that is in the movie (except for a boring fight at the end). This isn't even worth a rental and I usually like B movies.

I enjoyed it, it wasnt great by any means but I'm easy to please, what can I say, I loved the Angel battle near the end with Gabriel, awesome stuff there, but it was mostly a mish mash of everything happening they could fit in on the budget, which really wasnt very big
As for The Strangers comment, no they werent doing that for our enjoyment, they did it because THEY enjoyed it, the line "because we can" should ring some bells I would think, perfectly explainable
And Underworld is a classic in my book, one of the better Vampire action flicks to come out for over a decade, loved the trilogy and own all three on Bluray....great fun stuff there -

This movie sucked. I wanted to love it, all I expected was a solid non stop action movie, and I did not even get that. Not to mention the little plot made no sense. Think of Terminator, but without knowing WHY Skynet wanted to kill Sarah.
