And it appears to be a pretty nice release - though the extras are not English-friendly. Would've been nice if they included the "Fade to B&W" version too. I'll probably still get it.

HMV seems to have started shipping out, just got a shipping notice last night for this and a separate one for A Tale of Two Sisters. I hope they arrive quickly.

Been having some delay with my recent Amazon UK shipments, one from 1.5 weeks ago hasn't shown up yet and neither has the one shipped last weekend. Usually my packages from UK arrived a bit faster than those. I wonder if the postal strikes in UK affected the deliveries.

You're right about the postal strikes -- sorting and transport staff seem to be on strike the most at the moment.

Received Sympathy For Mr Vengeance, Lady Vengeance and A Tale Of Two Sisters today and they all say region B on the case. All three discs are single layered.

I watched Mr Vengeance straight away and can confirm it is locked. The picture was okay, some scenes sharper than others, but I doubt the film could really look any better and I'd probably give it a three-out-of-five. It hasn't got a very surround-intensive score, but where the rears are utilised, they are good.

Overall I'm happy with the PQ and AQ, the extras are few (however, I never, ever watch any extras, so it doesn't bother me) and the film is brilliant. If you can play region B discs, I can heartily recommend this as a blind-buy.

Got my Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and A Tale of Two Sisters today. They are really region B locked.

Mr. Vengeance is not a BD-25 although the back cover says so. It's actually a BD-50, but just over 30 GB in size.

1080p / 2.35:1 AVC video and DTS-HD MA 16-bit audio in Korean. English subs are optional and seem to be inside the video image, didn't check throughly yet if there are 2 line subs as well and how they are placed.

PQ looks pretty fine at a glance. Looking forward to watching this!

HMV's delivery to my house was much faster now with these 2 than the first time I ordered from there (Machine Girl BD). They shipped both discs in separate small cardboard boxes.
