Just let this be a good learning experience for Steelbook collectors. Don't always believe the hype that is being put out there by the scalpers. They just want to scare you into paying more than you should, so they can line their pockets.

These weren't immediately out of stock.
They aren't going to be bringing John Rambo (> $300) numbers anytime soon.
They aren't as rare as scalpers want you to believe.
Online orders will be getting filled.

Just keep this in mind for the next 10 Steelbooks and you should have no trouble getting them without it costing you an arm and a leg...
Could we just move on? There's a reason why all the discussion posts from earlier were deleted.

Thanks Nick, I got your text a few minutes later than I read your PM haha. I'm so happy right now, now all I need to worry about is Pinocchio (although it's not as nice looking).

Thanks man!

Also, if you look at the top, left-hand corner of the UP steelbook, you can see a gap in between the two steel sides.

It was confirmed on the Future Shop boards that the steelbook will be the exact same as the Best Buy case.

As I stated before, all Disney are under 2000 copies, fs has finally disclosed this publicly.... As for the 'it has to be 4000 min order junk,' I told you it was broken. 12 disneys and a ton of new releases allowed for a package deal.

Hi all, just for the record, there were over 1000 (but less the 2000)*units of*each of the*Disney steelbooks. For UP and the other new theatrical release titles the number is significantly higher.

Future Shop really needs to put a limit per household on these things. They do for almost everything else, and don't bother here which is ridiculous.

What's worse is the ones that are sold out remain on the site. Take the freaking thing down if they are all gone. I hate clicking on them only to discover the title is sold out.

There actually was limits, one online, two in store. I do agree that the should take it down once it's gone.

Yeah but they never enforce those in store policies, and therein lies the problem.

I picked up Pinocchio today. I walked in and saw the movie and thought, "aww hell, it's the last one. Might as well".

I already own the normal blu-release, but Pinocchio was one of my favourite Disney movies. Will I get the others? Maybe, but only if I walk in and it's there.

Default Pixar Steelbooks!

I just came back from Future Shop to pick up Star Trek and found out that they started releasing Pixar blu-rays in steelbook editions. Since I was waiting for the right time to get them, I bought those available as of now (Up 3-discs, Monster Inc 3-discs, Ratatouille and Wall-e) Im posting pics of them so you can have a look. If you're interested in getting them and you're not from canada, you may try to see if best buy has them. (Up's picture is standing up to show that it's a large case and has plastic in between the the steel covers, same for monster inc)
