Panorama Distributions will release Chan-wook Park's Sympathy for Lady Vengeance on August 21st with English subtitles!

Nice! I already got the German release and added subs to it though so I might not re-buy. It was a solid release except for the lack of subs.

I'd be very eager to get Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance if that was ever released. Would complete the revenge trilogy on Blu-ray and I liked that one even more than Lady Vengeance.

Agreed, Juha. Mr. Vengeance is a better film.

That said, the entire trilogy fucking rocks, and Lady Vengeance is a wonderful ending chapter.

Yeah, I saw the first one (Mr. Vengeance) first and it had the biggest impact on me at the time of first seeing it + it was the first time seeing anything by Chan-wook Park for me. His later movies got more stylized and slick but less powerful in some other way. Overall a great trilogy! Would make a nice 3-disc set as a Korean release

i also love his little ditty in 3 Extremes. after watching the trilogy, it was so, so, so, SO obvious which segment was his.
