Only hate for The Crow 4 - Wicked Prayer (2005). I'll pass on the 2-Pack:
IMDb 2.7/10 3,436 Votes

Jester, these are the ones that I'm looking for:

1. History of The World, Part 1
2. The Crow
3. Appleseed Saga - Ex Machina
4. Terminator 2 SE Steelbook

I would've loved to get the Tenchi Muyo movie trilogy but not for the $200 price tag.

There's only one option for shipping right?

I put the three discs I want (Crow, Equilibrium and HOTW) in my cart and went to check out at Amazon JP and got a total with shipping of 12412 yen, which translates to about $131 US. Looking at the prices here it would be pretty much the same price. I'm thinking Amazon JP maybe doesn't give you a break for more items if they're going to the US?

Given there's like $1 difference I'll probably just order this stuff directly. Thanks for the efforts as always Jester!

Your gonna end up paying duty for it as well if you buy over a fixed value... I forget the amount but it is pretty small... between $150 to $200 dollars I think.

And yes they only ship via express mail... as far as I know it is either FedEx or DHL to the US. No EMS or SAL options.

Only reason to buy JP is if you like to have the JP version for the audio/vidwo encode or extra content as opposed to the US version if one is released that is.

There really is a Crow 2-pack? Whoa. Can we get a price on it please? And are there any impressions at all of the Wicked Prayer Blu-Ray? I'm tempted to be the first to risk it, but literally every review says the movie is bad. Many even say it's worse than Salvation, which was already way south of decent.

Here's the CD Japan page though: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=GNXF-1021

That's pretty much the case with every GB, usually if you hit 3-5 discs you'll end up paying the same if you do it yourself. The issue is that I have to collect money for fees and reshipping so it's usually more beneficial to people who only want 1 disc.

There are other people who just won't order internationally so GBs are perfect for them, too.

Amazon JP, FR, & UK work the same way for international shipping (base price per order plus additional cost per disc). Germany is the only weird one with a set price per order.

Amazon.jp ships via Fedex to the states. Fedex will charge a small processing fee of $5 plus a 2.4% (I think that's right - I get confused with 2.4 or 2.7...) Customs duty fee. On my huge group buy order from Amazon.jp it only amounted to about $38-$40.

But the key is that they bill you a few days - a week after you get the package.

That's a relative bargin considering the fees you get from other customs brokers to process a package - IBC gets anywhere around $35 - $40 FEE to process + extra on top of that. I think I paid $80 once for a package that was 1/3 the value of the one from Amazon.jp!!

Since it ships fedex express - the package reached me on the East Coast of the US in about two-three days from Japan.

Pretty sweet service.

Good to know. Again thanks for your efforts - I in no way was meaning to question the calculations and I know there was going to be a possibility of extra fees on this due to customs.

All my discs hit Shipping Soon - can't wait to get these!
