I watched Ultimatum last night and enjoyed it, but I did like the first one better when I first saw it. It was somehow edited better so that the action sequences made a bigger impression than in the sequel, or maybe it was the freshness. Ultimatum has a quite similar plot as the first one, many similar storylines.

Some strong action sequences in Ultimatum as well and the music is effective and adds a lot to the movie. It's good entertainment, but didn't leave me as impressed as the first one overall. Still felt it was a worthy purchase and would have probably impressed more if watched without high expectations based on the first one.

I enjoyed Ultimataum's ending much more than the first.
Spoiler:
I think what took me out of the first one, briefly, was the fight with the giant guy (in the first one). The second one's ending was much more coherent. That, and I'm in love with Tao.

I think the AQ for Ultimatum is reference.

I watched it tonight.

Not nearly as good as the original. Not a bad movie, though. Still very entertaining and that soundtrack kicks some serious ass. I need to find it.

The Blu-ray is spectacular, though. Great picture and amazing sound.
