I bought this finally yesterday. The disc contains 2 transfers of the same 48 min Anime movie, one transfer is a telecine from the film and the other is a direct digital transfer. Both have 24-bit DTS-HD MA 5.1 & 2.0 LPCM audio tracks in original language which is a mix of Japanese and English. There are 4 sets of subtitles: English for only Japanese parts, English for all parts, Japanese for only English parts, Japanese for all parts. That's a nice combination of subtitle options.
To my eyes the direct digital transfer looks a little bit stronger with more contrast and sharpness and the telecine film version looks a bit hazier and softer with slightly faded colors. I couldn't compare them side by side though so it's hard to say for sure.
I watched the digital transfer version last night and enjoyed the movie again (though it is quite short and doesn't get much backstory explanation etc.). There was a PS2 game (in 2 parts) at least available in Japan which was a kind of tie-in with the movie and added a lot to the story, I played that through with my wife back in early 2001. PQ and AQ of the direct digital transfer were excellent. Some screencaps will follow in a separate post.

There was also an original booklet from 2000 when the Anime was first released that was included outside of the case, under the plastic wrapper. It's in Japanese only with some pictures and text + some adverts for tie-in products (back in the day). I'm not sure if that's included in all copies or just some. Both copies at Bic Camera store where I bought this from had it. There was a small note saying that since the booklet is an original one from year 2000 the contact phone number somewhere in the booklet is already obsolete and shouldn't be used.
