Yeah I know. Have heard about it just not interested in it. But the other 3 I'm in for. Been doing more importing recently. It's shitty that the US seems to be behind on all the cool titles.

True that, I've got imports from Amazon uk coming in this week, and a couple more from various other sources.

Same here. I'm lumping my UK orders into one though to save on shipping. So I'll have a massive fucking order coming in October......along with one helluva bill. Plus stuff I have order in Germany and France. Ouch.

UK is my whore for now. I've got Strange Days pending from Germany, but until August. Nothing from anywhere else yet.

Updated the list with some more releases.

Warner is releasing The Wizard of Oz on Nov. 2 in the UK, for the happy, non-fluff price of £15.79, just under $26 on Amazon.co.uk, which compares pretty well to Amazon.com's price of $63.49 for the "Ultimate Collector's Edition". UK version is listed as 3 discs vs. 4 discs for the US version. So if you don't need the "Limited & Numbered one-of-a-kind collectible packaging" or wrist watch with "genuine crystals", this may be the way to go.

Also 1989 Best Foreign Film Oscar Winner Cinema Paradiso is coming September 7.

Also on September 7 Metrodome is releasing Fifty Dead Men Waking, the real life story of Martin McGartland, who was recruited by the British police to infiltrate and spy on the IRA. He managed to work his way up into the IRA leadership until he was eventually found out and tortured horribly, but still managed to escape. He is still in hiding from the IRA to this day.

I know this will get a US release BUT I thought this still needed a listing here because it's so damn bad ass.

Optimum is releasing This is Spinal Tap - Limited Marshall Amp Edition on Sept. 7 in the UK for about £49.98. The set includes the following: Limited edition customised Marshall Amp (going up to 11)
Numbered special amp packaging
7 original art cards.
5 Disc Stonehenge digi pack – including
• ‘This is Spinal Tap’ re-mastered and restored
• The Blu-ray of ‘This is Spinal Tap’
• Over 5 hours of extras (inc ‘The Return of Spinal Tap, A new and exclusive ‘fans of the film’ documentary with interviews with Ricky Gervais, Kings of Leon, Kasabian and more comedians and musicians, Live Earth concert footage, commentaries by the band)
• The Original Soundtrack CD

Added the Warner UK Fall releases announced:

October 5, 2009 Gremlins No US release date yet announced.

Contact is being released Oct. 12, but I didn't add it to the list as it's being released in the US on Oct. 6 at around the same price.

October 12, 2009 Dances With Wolves 227 minute Director's Cut. MGM owns the US rights, with no blu-ray release announced.

November 9, 2009 Heat (1995) Warner Home Video UK. No US release yet announced

November 9, 2009 The Negotiator. No US release yet announced.

November 16, 2009 Gone With the Wind. US release around the same time, but only as a Limited Collector's Edition. As with The Wizard of Oz, the UK release will have most if not all video content, and price much lower.

November 16, 2009 North by Northwest. No US release yet announced

Amazon UK has a listing for that one, but what appears to be be only a "standard version" at £16.88; HMV has the same version, at a quid more. Where did you see the listing for that Limited Marshall Amp Edition?

I had my search limited to blu-ray only, and this doesn't show that way, only under DVD.
