Godard's "Contempt": UK: September 28th!!
not much else to say here.
"Le Mepris" (Contempt) from 1963 is widely hailed as one of the most famous, classic, seminal films in the history of world cinema.  it often appears on greatest films of all time lists. pre-order is up at amazon.uk the main question will be will this be any good coming from "hit or miss" Optimum? and will it be locked? also: this film was on the initial Criterion short list of films they were planning for bd release, so lots of question marks here. no word from Criterion in over a year regarding this title so who know what they are thinking. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mepris-Blu-r...335470&sr=1-21

It's another crappy book though
 Just like Belle de jour.... I'm hoping that Australia gets versions in real cases since they're Studio Canal releases.

That's not a bad price at all considering it's an import, ya know? Plus, with free shipping to boot from Amazon... much better deal than ordering from Amazon UK.
Crap, I just realized that all the Studio Canal releases are available for pre-order from Amazon US. CC

pretty crazy. Definitely a good deal if they actually get them. I will save a ton of money this way.

Amazon US finally shipped this (and Belle de Jour) to me. It is waiting for me at home. Cannot wait to get to it this weekend.
