Never heard of the movie before, but it gets 100% on Rotten Tomato and 7.9/10 on imdb. This German release seems to be the only blu-ray release of the movie. According to liesinc.net, it's region free for anyone else interested in it.
It's an excellent movie, highly recommended. I'm surprised more people aren't interested in it especially since it's one of the best priced German imports. I'll get you a price later today, preparing for a phone interview now

Great, please put me down as definite for a copy.

Do you know what the audio is for Time Bandits? I know it has both English & German, but is it lossless? I'm browsing Amazon.de and they list the audio only as Dolby Digital 5.1.

And, are you placing the order today, or next Thursday?

I don't have any info for audio specs on Time Bandits. Maybe someone who owns the King of Queens seasons could report if they have lossless since it's the same studio and they are relatively new to Blu-ray.

I'll be placing the order next Thursday. I'll PM everyone involved tomorrow or Sat asking people to revise their orders to make sure they are correct. Then I'll do another round of PMs next week going over final payment.

Wow, this is my first gb on this forum.

Please include me with the following titles:

1. Terminator 3 SB
2. Sliders - Das Tor in eine fremde Dimension: Staffel 5 (5 DVDs)

I loved Sliders and their last season 5 was only released on DVD in Germany.

I have no problems with region coding/PAL output and have a Paypal account.

Thanks!

I just love how those automatic web translaters work sometimes -

Fortunately, it does a better job of translating the specs; thanks for the link. It is only Dolby Digital 5.1 English/German.

Oh well, I'll take a chance on it; please put me down for a copy of Time Bandits in addition to In My Father's Den.

Darn, no lossless for Time Bandits similar to The Neverending Story Blu-ray release. I do at least hope they put some restoration work into it but I wouldn't be surprised if the video quality is also similar to The Neverending Story. I'm still in for Time Bandits regardless and can't wait to receive it.

It's a Fantasy Adventure with a lot comedy in it. They time travel from the age of Napoleon through Middles Ages to the sinking of the Titanic. It's a Terry Gilliam movie. Gilliam is a Director with a . . . . "vivid" imagination. He was involved with the Monty Python series & movies. The movie is a fun 2 hour escape from reality. Like most Gilliam movies, you can just enjoy the movie for the fun adventure and great laughs, or dig deeper and ponder the message hidden inside the film. I like the comment from an IMDB.com member: "Gilliam gives us a morality tale wrapped inside a an epic poem seen in the guise of an abstract painting."

The order will be placed before Time Bandits is released so it's your call. The studio has been region free in the past so chances are good this release will be, as well.

If it ended up being locked you could probably turn it over and make a buck at Blu-ray.com. Totally your call but once you pay for it the disc is yours.

Yes I'll be contacting everyone via PM for payment.

Alright, lets roll the dice. Will be looking out for the PM. Thx.
