IDK... I'm starting my new job Monday so I may retire for a bit until I get back on a schedule. I just found more stuff I want from Germany I can always find something to buy from Japan or France as well. But those countries have all been imported from quite a bit.

If people show interest in Italy or Spain that might be interesting but I don't really have anything I want to buy from those countries. The Netherlands never got off the ground last time and Sweden barely made it worthwhile. HK and UK shipping is so cheap it's really not worth a GB. Poland would be cool but I don't know of any exclusives.

I would be interested in participating in a Nordic GB from say english.megastore.se or whoever has the best prices on Nordic titles. I just want the Danish Black Hawk Down with 7.1. It is actually my top want right now. Is it better to go through a Japanease seller or somewhere else for Infernal Affairs? I purchased the first Infernal Affairs on DVD for $4 used but pristine at Blockbuster. Looking to get into the Infernal Affairs movies on .

english.megastore.se was what I used before and it was very hard to get enough people involved. Almost the only reason it happened was because of the subtitle botch job on the US version of Let the Right One In. If we can get 9 discs ordered it would be worthwhile to do again.

Use dddhouse.com for HK imports (Infernal Affairs). You'd be hard pressed to find anything cheaper.

Man that sucks. Takes 9 discs to make it worth it for english.megastore.se huh? I just checked on Infernal Affairs and it is $66.67 for the trilogy. After reading some reviews on the 3rd movie, I may have to try to find the first two independently unless there is really something gained on the first two titles by from the boxset. I am going to shoot you a PM about another question.

Megastore's overseas shipping is 9 EUR, not too bad I think it's a fixed rate at least for relatively small packages. One can easily order without a group setup as well since the site has an English interface available. Should be careful to order only discs that were already released when ordering more than one, as they'll ship pre-ordered items separately with a full separate shipping cost.

I've got 2 Swedish movies on order from there currently:

- I Taket Lyser Stjärnorna
- Maria Larssons Eviga Ögonblick

At least the 2nd one is not English friendly. Both have Finnish subs which works for me.

Well maybe a smaller group buy would work, then. 5 discs or some thing. The 9 Euro for relatively small package; what quantity or quantities would fit within that range?

...
All the packages I've ordered from there fit into the basic shipping fee. One of them included a 10-disc set of CDs too. Actually their page says this:

Quote:
The shipping cost is 10 euro for all destinations outside Sweden.
The 10 EUR price is old info though, recently they are charging 9 EUR instead. So I guess this is flat rate and works for pretty much any package size but I've not tested with very large orders.

Yeah Megastore.se is only EUR 9 shipping. I'm pretty sure it's fixed no matter what (I think I tired 100 discs and it was the same). But remember the point of a GB is to save money. If the savings is negligible then people should just import themselves. By the time costs are added in for reshipping, packaging supplies, and PP fees you're adding at least $2 per disc so it really helps to get the extra few discs to reduce international shipping. It all makes sense in my head, at least.

In chronological order the IA trilogy goes 2, 1, 3. I thought 2 sucked as a prequel but enjoyed 3 as a follow up. Can't say I'm in the norm but I think it's worth it to see all three movies. If you buy the trilogy and don't like IA 3 I know someone who would be very happy to take it off your hands.

You can get fat 3 disc cases from eBay in the UK. They aren't as good as the fat Disney cases, though. The only way to get the 3 disc Disney cases is to find someone who doesn't use cases and buy that way.... but people know they're rare the price is approaching $10 a piece. I'm hoarding 4 of them that took me forever to get

Slim 3 disc Warner cases are a bit cheaper but still hard to find. You just have to keep on it to find members that have extras. Any 3 disc cases go really fast.

I received my blus today. Thank you!

I'm trying to leave feedback but it tells me "The deal URL is invalid" (please notice that this is the first time that I post feedback here).

I paste the following url:

forums.highdefdigest.com/blu-ray-imports-subforum/84058-amazon-de-group-import-part-deux.html

But after displaying the error, it converts it to:

forums.highdefdigest.com/showthread.php?t=84058

What can I do about this?

you cannot leave feedback for threads outside the marketplace. find a thread created by the seller in the area (searching through their profile, threads created is easiest way to do so), or created by you in the area.

only saw it cuz i'm thinking of making a german order myself (no, not a group one. i'm not brave enough to front one of those).

i'm liking the 10 pound price on Lady Vengeance. english or no, the chances of us seeing that film on blu is slim for some time. i just wish to god someone would release Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, my favorite of the trilogy.
