Any word if Dead Snow is still coming out on Oct. 20th? I have not seen any reviews and not many people are talking about it at all on the web.

Well my order for it hasn't been canceled, and I haven't seen any other information about it being canceled. I think most Canadian releases come without much fanfaire - October 6th's release of The Brothers Bloom came and went with barely a peep, but I had no problem getting my copy.

For those who care to know, Dracula 2000 is indeed 1080i, as stated on the back.

Saw "Dead Snow" at my local HMV yesterday. Lots of copies too. Haven't seen the movie yet, though.

Just received Dead Snow and the Tournament from Amazon.ca yesterday! The Tournament is a damn fine little B-movie featuring over-the-top acting, thin plot and some of the best action set pieces I've seen since Crank. It's also a blatant excuse for tons of gore and nudity (as well as a rip-off of Albert Pyun's Mean Guns, but in a good way). A nice little surprise.
Dead Snow is still wrapped up, but I noticed it had a host of extra features. I'm saving it to watch along side Night of the Creeps on Halloween.

There is a new blu-ray (and DVD) release of Passchendaele out now; a 2 disc special edition.
For the blu-ray version, disc 1 I beleive is the exact same as the version that's out now (English/French DTS HD-MA {even though it's not stated on the back}, 1080p, and the making of documentary). Disc 2 I beleive mostly compiles of a lot of featurettes/documentaries regarding WW1. This 2 disc set was released November 3rd. It's basically a Rememberance Day Commemorative Edition. How am I not myself?

I would be grateful if someone could provide some info about Millenium. I have a nasty suspicion that this might be a French-only release (it appears only on the Alliance Vivafilm website) and that it will have a) no English subtitles and b) a dubbed French audio track (it's a Swedish movie) (these are the specs of the recent version released in France).
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

According to these screencaps it will have an original audio track but in Dolby Digital only and no English subtitles.

The Illusionist...
Yo all. Just a heads up that the version of The Illusionist that inetvideo sells has good PQ and AQ. Its an Aalliance title which I know can be suspect but they did a great job with this one. The cover art is bilingual but otherwise looks exactly like the US DVD release.
Great film, excellent disc, and just $14.99.Pioneer KURO 50"
