Weinstein officially has no titles planned for Blu-ray. The Reader also suffered 2 week delay. Not looking good people...

But regardless my pre-order from Fanboys BD in Canada is still on.

It MIGHT be alright to move this thread there, but this site is mainly centred around US releases, so it might get a bit confusing having a "Canadian releases" thread in there. Personally, I think this thread is alright just staying right here.

Just a couple of 'updates' for the main page:
Running Scared is in 1080i and the aspect ratio has been opened up to 1.78:1 (OAR is 2.35:1)
The Trailer Park Boys: The Movie has English and French 5.1 DTS HD-MA and has all the special features found on the DVD release (it also includes a small teaser trailer for... Trailer Park Boys: The Movie 2!!!)

Bottom line is that they're still imports.

I seen fanboys a little while ago and really liked it, so i am hoping this canadian release is proper aspect ratio and includes special features, then i wont hesitate to purchase!

yea, guess i maybe jumped the gun a little, lol

but i dont see any reason it wouldnt get released in canada, it is from alliance, not weinstein in canada.

well hopefully we do see the release.

Yeah...Weinsteins have checked out on Blu-ray. I wouldn't expect anything from them for a while. Shame since they had a decent catalog of films planned.

Weinsteins have announced and postponed the film on DVD and Blu-ray 3 times already (I've had pending dates for well over a year). I really hope its real.
