The Spanish release has English subs and a great DTS mix. Problem is it is 1080i50 so depending on the player you're using you can have issues (not PS3 friendly). With my LG BH200 it plays without a single hitch. Haven't tried it in my current player though, but shouldn't be an issue.

Yeah, I avoided the Spanish release because I read it is 1080i/50 and also because it's hard to get Spanish imports with decent shipping costs to Japan. Got the French release expecting 1080p/24 but unfortunately it was 1080i/50 too. My PS3 doesn't play those so I'm stuck with PC playback. That's why I also got the Japanese release later.

I found the cheapest price from CDMarket.eu for $24.30 shipped! They also have Righteous Kill Steelbook for $45.10 shipped.

They should be shipping mine next week. But if you check the listing now it says 1 to 3 weeks. Yesterday it was 6 to 11 days. So I'm still waiting...

FWIW, I emailed Amazon inquiring if English subs were on the disc they have listed and they apologized for not having that info. That said, they suggested I go ahead and order it and if I'm not satisfied I should return it for a full refund. I'm keeping that email just in case.
Regardless, if that is the Swedish version on Amazon then the backcover in the post above this is not good news.

I have the Finnish release of that. The disc's identical, just different language on the covers.
The disc is region free. No english subs (no icelandic either, the cover's wrong). My region A Panasonic BD30 didn't give picture when playing the disc, all I got was sound and subtitles. I guess the 25fps encoding does that. -

I noticed that the amazon page now says temporarily out of stock. Has anyone who ordered it gotten a shipping notice yet?

Thats cool about the $10. Hopefully even if their distrib only sent a few someone who purchased one will get theirs soon. Even though all the evidence points to Amazon making a mistake i'm really hoping that this release is region-A friendly.

Anyone know an English friendly site that sells the Spanish disc? I was told my Pioneer would play PAL and send it out Source Direct and my VP can do PAL to NTSC conversions. I guess I'm good to go.
