Do you know if this Dances With Wolves version is region free? I noticed on the Amazon German site it is listed as the UK version which is due out in the UK next month, if it is indeed the same as the one listed on the Amazon.UK site and is region free I just might get it now.

Edited to add that after looking further, the German Amazon site has it listed as available next month as well.

How did you get it already?

The German release of Dances with Wolves was released back in Dec. 2008. It will say Kinowelt for the studio, and the cover looks like this:



I have a copy; It's excellent, but it is Region B locked. That UK Import is from Warner, so likely region free. But you're better off getting it directly from Amazon.co.uk - £11.98 = $19.97 vs. €18.99 = $27.67, and the shipping is a lot less at Amazon UK. They're both the 227 minute extended version.
